Scott from Chase Jarvis Inc talks about his personal camera of choice, the Olympus Pen E-P2. He talks about why he chose the Olympus Pen over an SLR, what lens’s/attachments he uses and how it is to use.
At first I was trying to use it one handed like a point and shoot because it’s so compact. I quickly abandoned these erroneous ways and started shooting it like a real camera, because that’s what it is. A real camera with real user controls in a very small package.
Soba Noodles with Grilled Prawns
Last week I found this amazing noodle recipe on The Guardian’s website. I made it with the noodles cold but this could also be served warm. The dressing is what makes this dish, its really fresh and tastes yummy!

Paul Hiffmeyer, the chief photographer for Disneyland Resort has just posted a really good article on how to take good photos of fireworks.
The most important tip is: have fun and don’t get frustrated if the photos don’t turn out like you expected. Think about what you could do next time to get the results you want and try again.

Gluten Free Cookies
The other day, I made these gluten free cookies for my girlfriend. I used the recipe from the Photo Cook Book iPad App and altered it to to exclude gluten. I’ve been looking for a good cookie recipe that translates well with gluten free ingredients and I think I’ve finally found it. The ground almonds give them the correct texture the and the guar gum holds them together.
