Reflections
The other day, @Yourfriendkyle and I went for our monthly walk into Derbyshire. This time we did the Monsal Head Circuit via The Red Lion pub in Litton, you can see a map of the walk here. This is my favourite photo from the walk.
This was also the first chance I’ve had to really use my new D7000 outside. It’s a massive upgrade from the D40 and I really love it!

= a trip of a lifetime.

“I wanted to show the difference between our natural and brute side versus how we represent ourselves to society,” Goldberger tells us. “The difference was very surprising.”
Yashica FX-D Quartz
Today, I found my girlfriends old film SLR , It’s a Yashica FX-D Quartz and it had a few lense’s with it. The ones I can see me using the most are two primes, a 50mm 2.0 and a 135mm 2.8 both by Yashica. I pretty much went straight out, bought some film and started shooting with it and I’m really loving it so far!

→ OS X Lion, the Ultimate Review, Ars Technica
John Siracusa’s, ultimate 19 page review of OS X Lion,
Mac OS X 10.7 was first shown to the public in October 2010. The presentation was understated, especially compared to the bold rhetoric that accompanied the launches of the iPhone (“Apple reinvents the phone”) and the iPad (“a magical and revolutionary device at an unbelievable price”). Instead, Steve Jobs simply called the new operating system “a sneak peek at where we’re going with Mac OS X.”
